Height Adjustable Headrest
To adjust the height of your headrest reach around and grab both sides of the Ergohuman headrest with both hands. You are able to adjust the headrest up and down. There are a total of five positions to choose from with an overall range of 5cm.
*The recommended postion for support of your head is one where the headrest is within the scruff of your neck
Tilt Adjustable Headrest
To adjust the angle of your headrest reach around to the back of your chair. Grab the headrest on both sides with both hands. Roll the headrest forward and backward to acheive the proper tilt position for the scruff of your neck. There are three tilt postions to choose from with a 15° adjustment for each position.
Height Adjustable Backrest
Reach around the back of the chair with both hands and pull both chrome buttons toward you. Slide the backrest either up or down to position the backrest. There are four different height positions available.
*Make sure to position the height of the backrest so that your lower back is receiving the proper lumbar support.
Synchro-Tilt Adjustment w/ Tilt Lock
While sitting in the chair, use your left hand to locate the synchro-tilt adjustment switch just below the seat on the left side. Pushing this lever forward will allow the chair to recline freely. The Ergohuman has a smart synchro-tilt mechanism allowing the seat pan to tilt 1° backward to every 2.7° of seat-back tilt. Move the lever backward when you feel you have acheived the most comfortable position to utilize the tilt lock. This keeps the chair back in the desired postion. There are 3 positions available.
Tilt Tension Adjustment
While sitting in the Raynor Ergohuman, reach under the right side of your seat to locate the tilt tension knob. This controls the tension applied to the backrest when the user reclines. Rotate the knob forward to increase the amount of tilt tension. Rotate the know backward to reduce the tilt tension.
*Sitting in a reclined position with the proper foot support can help reduce uncomfortable pressure put on the spine
Arm Height Adjustment
Reach underneath your armpads to find the armrest height adjustment button. Pull this button upward to release the armrest. Move the armrest up and lock it in the desied position. Ergohuman armrests have 10cm of overall adjustment.
*Be sure to adjust the armrest so they are creating a 90° angle between your upper arm and forearm
Arm Pad Angle Adjustment
Place your elbows onto the arm pad and grasp your hands around the front of your armrest. You are able to swivel your armrest into three overall positions. There is a total of 16° of overall armpad adjustability.
*Rotate your armpads inward when typing at the computer to give full upper arm and forearm support. This feature helps to reduce the stress put on your shoulders
Seat Height Adjustment
Reach underneath the right side of your Ergohuman to locate the seat height adjustment lever. The seat height adjustment switch is the switch closest to the seat front. In order to lower the chair, pull back on the switch while still applying your body weight to the seat. To move your chair up, lift your body weight from the seat while holding the switch and the chair will rise to meet you.
*Be sure to place your feet on level ground or footrest
Seat Depth Adjustment
Reach underneath the right side of your seat to locate the seat depth adjustment switch. The seat depth adjustment switch is the switch closest to the armrests. Pull back on this switch to release the seat lock. You are then able to slide the seat freely forward and backward. Adjust the seat depth so that your haunch is fully on the seat. The inturn of your knee should be about a half inch from the front of the seat.
